Grades 9-12 This mixed media project uses 4x4 canvases and utilizes student's skills in metal embossing, acrylic painting, and collaging. This piece is meant to showcase student's understanding of color, texture, and composition.
Grades 9-12 Students design a series of three 4.5"x 4.5" tiles using mixed media in order to express a personal narrative. Students will utilize a cohesive color scheme to add narrative context to their images.
Grades 9-12 This painting assignment uses 5 x 7 canvases and develops student's skills in acrylic painting. Students create an abstract design and use shades, tints, and tones of a single hue to paint their piece.
Grades 9-12 Students work in charcoal on 8.5" x 11" toned paper to create a small piece of a larger image. Students meet together to give advice on creating one larger cohesive image.
Grade 8 This books contain a variety of designs and drawings made from using layering of different media. There are multiple layers and techniques used.
